The major renovation of three buildings in the heart of the European Quarter is a project that aims to create a transversal plot on the scale of the block. The project encompasses a complete overhaul of the building envelopes (facades and roofs), interior finishes and all special techniques. It also includes the demolition and reconstruction of existing volumes in the heart of the block.
The architectural design focuses on maximum flexibility of space, encouraging fluid circulation between the different areas and establishing a harmonious relationship with the external environment. A distinctive feature of this project is the transformation of the interior of the block into a magnificent garden, providing an aesthetic and functional link between the buildings.
These buildings are designed according to the NZEB (Nearly Zero Energy Building) concept, using passive energy and eco-circularity principles. In addition, the use of BIM is integrated into every stage of the project.
